Recently, I ventured into exploring the Highscreen Power Ice Evo, a smartphone offering from the renowned Russian brand, Highscreen. In this detailed review, I'll be discussing its features, my personal experience, and some pros and cons.
Note: Some insights are subjective; consider them as a personal viewpoint.
Unboxing the Highscreen Power Ice Evo
The first thing that catches your attention is the minimalist white packaging.
Emphasizing the 5000mAh battery life on the box is a hint about its standout feature. Alongside the phone, the package offers various accessories, including a 2A power adapter, charging cable, and protective glass.
A bonus: the box also includes a protective film, advertising the device.
Design & Build Quality
A blend of modern aesthetics and functionality, the phone strikes a balance between premium and affordable. Its design cleverly hides the bezels, giving it a sleek appearance.
The provided protective glass is a much-needed accessory, considering the screen's susceptibility to smudges and scratches.
Buttons and ports are strategically placed: power button on the right, volume controls on the left, charging port and microphone at the bottom, and headset port at the top. The back of the phone houses the camera, flash, and speaker.
A point to mention is the challenge in removing the back cover. The reason being its design with numerous latches, which feels fragile when frequently accessed. Beneath the cover are slots for a microSD card and two micro SIM cards.
For those interested in accessorizing, there's an optional case resembling leather. It fits the phone perfectly without obstructing any functionalities.
